Anna Kurtycz (Mexico, 1970) worked as a journalist and communication expert and studied engraving and art in Paris. She specializes in non-toxic engraving and woodcut. Her work has been exhibited in Benin, Canada, France, Ghana, Mexico, The Netherlands, Spain and the United States.
In Africa, where she lived and worked from 2008 to 2015 (first in Ghana and then in Benin) she created “Studio Kurtycz” organising exhibitions, art projects and printing workshops with adults and children. She is part of the Contemporary Artists Catalogue of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, The Printers Association “Graver Maintenant” (France), the Conseil National Français d’Arts Plastiques and Stroom (NL). Some of her works are made in collaboration with the Dutch artist RUDEK.
